The Hagley & District Light Car Club have issued the following statement:
“After careful consideration, regrettably it is our current intention not to run the Ken Wharton Memorial Autotests this year for the first time in it’s 63 year history and, knowing that travel arrangements are made well in advance, that we make and notify everyone of the decision now”
“In light of the present Covid-19 situation, and the resulting restrictions, we feel that it would be wrong to ask competitors to travel to the event, particularly as the social side would have to be drastically curtailed. We can assure you that we will continue to work hard to ensure that the event returns in 2021 and will update you in due course.”
